Does anyone else think that it's a slow day on the lindsay forum? Or is it just me? Did no one go on there last night? There's like three new posts... and they're kinda boring.

That happens from time to time on forums. People run out of things to say. That's why threads go off-topic so often. Actually, what happened was I wasn't there. I've been spending time at this other forum, and haven't been on Lindsay's much. Without me, the place basically dies. I'm, like, the life of the forum. Ha! Yeah, right.

I might be spreading myself a bit thin on all these forums I go to (In addition to this board and the Official L*Board -- when is Keavy gonna get her own official board? -- I also post to a great many other forums, like the Elder Scrolls board, the I <3 Morgan Webb board, the Ashley Tisdale .org board, the G4 Board, the Gamers Against Jack Thompson board, and a couple others...and on top of that, I also have a MySpace, and am registered with some Elder Scrolls and Sims 2 boards to get d/l's for my games...) Too many websites, so little time... Tim (aka the Slipperman)

Okay... gut feeling? about a forum? Sorry but that's just weird! Although you said not to ask why, I'm still wondering... *I get an actual thought in my head* Erin... save the forum!

Although you said not to ask why, I'm still wondering... *I get an actual thought in my head* Erin... save the forum! its not as weird as you would think..and even though you didn't technically ask...I'll explain anyway... I don't feel right on that forum because I don't really get along with most of the people on there,my gut feeling(instinct)makes me distance myself from them and just go about my business...not weird at all.

We get along fine, don't we, Annie? And I don't think it's weird. Sometimes you just...get a vibe, you know?

I get along fine with some people...sometimes...but most people I don't...I don't like being in an environment where I feel like I'm always holding my tongue...thats my vibe. And thats the end of annie's issue.

you know... I get what you're saying. I have 3 close friends in real life... and that's it. I'm always excluded in the "real world" so that's why I go on to these forums... to talk to people who are interested in some of the same things I am... I'm one of those people, ya know? I'm not pretty, but not... uh... aesthetically challenged, I'm not dumb, but not smart... just don't really fit in. I don't know why, but people tend to judge me before they know me and single me out. That's life, I guess! Sometimes I do feel... weird... on the L*Forum, but anyway... *trails off and kinda spaces out*

The thing about the L*Forum, this place, and others like them, is that there's an applied anonymity to the members (unless they choose to lift that veil). People can get to know you for your mind, and not your looks. Some forums I've visited, the more established members seemed a bit...cold to the newbies. Basically they got ignore, overlooked. So, I never returned to them. But on the L*forum (both Official and Unofficial), this place, The Jimmy Constable Forum, and the Pandect Forum*, the members are warm and welcoming to newbies (on the Pandect Forum, I felt like part of the "family" right away, even though I didn't know this people well like the ones from the B*witched-related forums). It's all a matter of how you personally feel, I guess. If you feel...odd, if you get that vibe,...then don't go on there for a while. But we're glad to have you.
*'Pandect' is a webcomic created by a girl named Dina Situ. The rules are slightly different and more enforced, but the members are really nice and it's a pretty laid-back, down-to-Earth-place.

Aww thanks... uh yeah anyway... I do like how people know you for your mind or personality on the forums and not your looks or the way you talk. But yeah, some people are pretty cold toward the newbs.

hehe. that's true. Another disadvantage is the fact that you can't really SAY anything, so some things come out wrong...

True. It is possible to take some things out of context.
