i wouldn't be able to make a decision like that so young. ...then again, the US and the UK both are basically two very different cultures and maturity levels are totally different. i've been told that i'm mature for my age but still, i don't think i'd be able to make a decision like that. my rule is, i will only marry a person after i've lived with them for at least 2 years.

I don't think anyone that young is mature enough to make that type of decision. Often, it ends bad. There are exceptions, though.
